The Calyx Kong, like its larger sibling the 'Coffee', is a high quality USB DAC and headphone amplifier in a sleek and stunning aluminum enclosure that is superbly finished in a bright green color (Kong is Korean for pea).

Like all Calyx products, the Kong is milled from a solid billet of aluminum giving it a solidly luxurious feel.  The three top mounted buttons allow control volume level and instantaneous mute.  On the bottom is a full rubber pad (rather than simple feet) to give it a secure grip on your desktop.

A single 3.5mm analog stereo output can feed your powered desktop speakers or drive even the most difficult headphones.  Digital signals from your computer or other digital media device are input via a USB 'B' type connection.

The Kong is absolutely “as good as it gets” in terms of build quality and finish with sound quality that is excellent, particularly given its price.
